32% of Canadians used a payphone in the last year….We at WiMacTel aren’t surprised as we continue to see usage and a clear need for payphones. They are disappearing at a rapid rate because Canadian phone companies are focusing on higher growth areas. As a business you can’t blame them but this public service needs to be maintained. That is why we have been acquiring payphone assets over the last few years and we will continue to do so. We have a business model that allows us to keep more phones on the wall for a longer time ensuring those that need to use a payphone can find one.
